Gradatim IT Ventures, a privately held IT (information technology) company with holding entities in Singapore and India, has commenced business operations in India. They have their corporate office in Bengaluru and BPU (Business Process Utility) operations based out of Chennai. In a recent press release, the company is said to have initiated several pilot projects with banks and financial institutions in India and abroad to offer custom made solutions in the Microfinance, Micro-insurance, Electronic Litigation Support and Insurance Closed Book Utility segments.
Using a combination of technology and services, the firm, established in early 2007, aims to simplify their client’s business operations, reduce turnaround time, and improve the overall business process. According to their website, “Gradatim delivers Business Utility Services using a hosted technology model. Solutions are built from ground up on Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), utilizing a common set of code and data definitions consumed by customers in a one-to-many model.” Specifically, “Gradatim’s Microfinance Platform aims to align various players in the ecosystem by enabling flow and visibility of information, providing scalability and reducing transaction cost.”
