About the Event: The 2009 Pacific Northwest Microfinance Conference is a collaborative event that seeks to deepen knowledge, connect people, and mobilize action toward developing lasting solutions to global poverty.  The SBE seeks to deepen knowledge of the role that microfinance is playing in creating lasting solutions to global poverty, learn from guest speakers at leading institutions, discover tangible, responsible, and lasting ways to take action in combating poverty, build networking relationships and learn how one can support microfinance, particularly through organizations that are either based in, or have a significant presence in, the Pacific Northwest.

Who is invited: Private Sector Professionals (interested in Microfinance), Microfinance Professionals, Public, NGO, Non-profit Sectors, Student, and Educators (in Global Studies, Public Affairs, Business and Civics.

Important Dates:  Conference: Friday, May 8, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 9, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Location:  Upper Gwinn Commons, SPU Campus

Cost:  Early registration $40, ($10 for full-time students; first 100 to register)After April 30th, $50, ($20 students).  Includes dessert on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
