The Microfinance Gateway is a platform for, of, and by the entire microfinance industry. The website is provided as a service of the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), a consortium of 33 donors who support microfinance. Housed at the World Bank, CGAP provides market intelligence, promotes standards, develops innovative solutions and offers advisory services to governments, microfinance providers, donors, and investors. For the year ending June 2009 CGAP’s projected donor contributions amounted to USD 19.1 million and expenses were estimated at USD 21.6 million.
