MICROFINANCE EVENT: The Economic Impact of COVID-19: Results of a Global Survey of Microfinance Customers; July 16, 2020; Webinar Hosted by FINCA

This online event will showcase the results of a survey of 5,000 microborrowers in Africa, Eurasia and Latin America regarding the “economic impacts of COVID-19” on their livelihoods. Two representatives of FINCA International will open the webinar, Scott Graham, the Director of Customer Research, and Anahit Tevosyan, the Associate Director of Research and Client Impact. The second portion of the event is a question-and-answer session moderated by the CEO of FINCA Impact Finance, Andrée Simon, and the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, Seth Spiro.

Background on Organizer: FINCA Impact Finance is a for-profit entity majority-held by FINCA International, a US-based NGO formerly known as the Foundation for International Community Assistance. The 20 financial institutions of FINCA Impact Finance serve 2.74 million clients in 20 countries with 10,300 employees handling a gross loan portfolio of USD 794 million and USD 420 million in client deposits as of Quarter 1 2020.
