Grameen Foundation has executed its first Growth Guarantee transaction in Peru leveraging US$600,000 for Pro Mujer Peru. As stated in the press release, the financing from Banco de Credito de Peru, that countrys largest bank, was facilitated by a guarantee of US $300,000, and will fuel Pro Mujers plans to reach more than 72,000 poor women by 2009. This is Grameen Foundations second Growth Guarantee with a Pro Mujer affiliate.
