From The Hivos-Triodos Fund and Triodos Fair Share Fund, FINCA Uganda recently received a loan valued at 2 billion Ugandan Shillings (UGX), equivalent to about US$1.1 million. Founded in 1992, FINCA Uganda is part of the FINCA International network. The FINCA International network itself has programs in 21 countries and reported $98.4 million in total assets in their 2004 Annual Report.
