Grameen Credit Agricole Microfinance Foundation (GCAMF), an organization that provides financial services to microfinance institutions (MFIs) and social business projects, has agreed to disburse a XOF 700 million (USD 1.3 million) to Senegal MFI Cooperative Autonome pour le Renforcement des Initiatives Economiques par la Micro finance (CAURIE).GCAMF is disbursing the loan in two tranches with a three-year maturity and a one-year grace period.
GCAMF is also issuing a THB 29.7 million (USD 961,000) loan to Thaneakea Phum Cambodia (TPC), a Cambodian MFI, also with a three-year maturity and a one-year grace period.
For fiscal year 2011, CAURIE reported total assets of USD 10.1 million, a gross loan portfolio of USD 8.2 million, return on assets (ROA) of -5.89 percent, return on equity (ROE) of -25.6 percent, deposits of USD 4.1 million and approximately 47,000 borrowers. As of 2011, TPC reported total assets of USD 46.2 million, a gross loan portfolio of USD 33.3 million, return on assets (ROA) of 3.73 percent, return on equity (ROE) of 20.3 percent and approximately 96,500 borrowers. As of December 31, 2011, GCAMF reports 45 investment projects in 19 countries that support 30 microfinance institutions (MFIs), four social-business projects and one fund that covers foreign-exchange risk.

As of 2011, TPC reported total assets of USD 46.2 million, a gross loan portfolio of USD 33.3 million, return on assets (ROA) of 3.73 percent, return on equity (ROE) of 20.3 percent and approximately 96,500 borrowers.
