PlaNet Finance India, an affiliate of French NGO PlaNet Finance, is inviting applications for its 4th Microfinance Process Excellence Award (MPEA) in an effort to establish industry benchmarks and elevate the standards of process and institutional management among microfinance institutions in India.
The judging criteria for 2010 are based on social performance reporting metrics plus governance and price transparency metrics that have been introduced into the 2010 criteria for the first time. Organizations may apply by completing the MPEA 2010 survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NJLFBGN.
The deadline for completing the survey is September 15, 2010, and the award ceremony will be held on November 15, 2010.
