Cost: The cost for Nepalese participants is NPR 10,000 (USD 116). Discounts of up to NPR 5,000 (USD 58) apply for registrations received by December 15, 2012. International participants, the registration fee is USD 500 with a discount of USD 200 for registrations received by December 31, 2012.
Summary of Event: This event aims to bring together microfinance stakeholders in Nepal to build a socially responsible and sustainable microfinance sector in Nepal. The Summit will feature the presentation of approximately 30 papers on current issues, plans of action for the development of the sector.
Background on Organizers: The host of the Summit is the Centre for Microfinance (CMF Nepal), an institution dedicated to promoting the microfinance industry in Nepal. The Steering Committee organizing the event consists of practitioners from microfinance development banks, cooperative unions and financial intermediary non-governmental organizations in Nepal.
