Event Summary: The event will focus on global mobile money services and operations; the stability, functionality and scalability of mobile money platforms and technology; mobile money savings and credit products including M-Shwari; the distribution and lifetime of products; and analyzing customer behavior. The event will also offer breakout sessions and field visits.
Background on Organizers: GSMA is a London-based association of mobile operators and related companies that support the regulation, distribution and promotion of mobile telecommunication systems across the financial services, healthcare, media, transport and utility sectors. The association’s membership includes approximately 800 mobile operators in 220 countries.
