The agenda includes topics such as Frontier Economies: Ethiopia; Making Primary Health Care Accessible: The Role of Innovative Health Financing; Scaling Up Clean Energy Access Delivery; From Pedagogy to Practicality: The Role of Academia in Developing an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem; and Unlocking the Potential of Private Sector to Achieve Universal Health Coverage for the Last Mile.
Background on Organizers: The Aavishkaar-Intellecap Group supports entrepreneurs via equity funds, a venture debt vehicle, microfinance, advisory services and investment banking. The group manages assets totaling USD 650 million and employs 3,500 people in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Kenya and the United States. Intellecap is an India-based unit of the group that “works to build businesses that can benefit the underserved segments across Asia and Africa,” including in the fields of health, agriculture and financial inclusion.
Cost: The fee for donors, funders and “corporates” to attend is USD 618. Premium tickets are also available, as are discounted tickets for entrepreneurs and representatives of organizations providing capacity development services.
