The topics to be covered include challenges and trends in the microinsurance industry; developing an effective regulatory framework for microinsurance and microfinance practitioners; microfinance institutions as distributors of microinsurance products; developing national microinsurance strategies; the supply and demand of microinsurance products; and the role of government in microinsurance for health, life, agriculture and natural disasters.

Background on Organizers: This event is organized by the West Africa Business School. Established in 2000, the West Africa Business School is a training centre that provides business and management education. Its headquarters are in Nigeria and it operates in both Ghana and Nigeria.
