This conference will focus on academic research on mobile money with an emphasis on developing markets. Four thematic areas of the conference are: policy and regulation on mobile money transactions, implementation of mobile money solutions, mobile money research and innovative application development. The event is associated with the preparation of special issues of the International Journal of Computing and ICT Research (IJCIR) and the African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development (AJSTID) to be published in 2012. Abstracts may be submitted for consideration until November 15.
