Cost: The fee to attend the event is EUR 250 (USD 330) for members of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and EUR 310 (USD 410) for non-members, if received by March 22, 2013. After that date, the fee to attend the event is EUR 300 (USD 397) for ALFI members and EUR 375 (USD 496) for non-members. Fees are subject to a 3 percent value-added tax.
Event Summary: This event is intended for representatives of microfinance investment vehicles, microfinance institutions, banks, investors, wealth managers, lawyers, service providers and other stakeholders interested in learning more about issues related to responsible and microfinance investing. The conference sessions will focus specifically on impact investing; women in finance; Islamic finance; regulation; attracting private investment; and achieving industry transparency through effective measuring, reporting and communication.
Background on Organizers: The conference is being hosted by ALFI, a nonprofit representative body of investment funds in Luxembourg. The event is being organized in association with the Luxembourg Fund Labeling Agency (LuxFLAG), an organization that aims to increase transparency for investors wishing to make responsible investments in the fields of microfinance and the environment by awarding a recognizable label to intermediaries operating in these fields.
