Cost: The registration fee is EUR 500 (USD 675), with a student rate of EUR 80 (USD 108).
The themes for this year’s Microfinance Week are the future of microfinance and investing in inclusive growth. Sessions will cover topics including the environment, youth inclusion and research. Further information on the workshops has not been released. MicroCapital has been engaged to provide online coverage of the event multiples times per day during the proceedings.
Background on Organizer: Founded in 2006, the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) is a network of approximately 120 microfinance organizations and individuals. Its objective is to promote cooperation among European microfinance stakeholders working in developing countries by facilitating communication and information exchange. E-MFP member organizations include banks, financial institutions, government agencies, NGOs, consulting firms, researchers and universities.
