MICROFINANCE EVENT: International Association of Investors in the Social Economy (INAISE) Conference; November 28 – 30, 2019; Agadir, Morocco

Themed “Social and solidarity finance as a vector of economic transformation in the 21st century” this event will open with a discussion of the impact of the social and solidarity economy on achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Breakout sessions will address topics such as women’s entrepreneurship, the impact of international banking regulations on credit unions, and the impact of digitalization.

Background on Organizer(s): Founded in 1989, the International Association of Investors in the Social Economy (INAISE) is a Belgium-based network of 30 financial institutions that focus on social and environmental impact. Its activities include organizing conferences, funding research and coordinating the dissemination of information among its members.
