Summary of Event: The 2009 Mobile Money Summit will focus on what is new in the mobile money ecosystem and how the community has evolved in the past year. The agenda has been developed provide successful strategies, new ideas, and sufficient data to develop their business cases. The program will provide a comprehensive demonstration of the addressable markets, a showcase for new solutions, and a forum for sharing key success factors and lessons learned from around the world.
Background on Organizer: The GSMA represents the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry. Spanning 219 countries, the GSMA unites more than 750 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset makers, software companies, equipment providers, Internet companies, and media and entertainment organizations. The GSMA is focused creating new opportunities with the end goal of driving the growth of the mobile communications industry.
