Summary of Event: The Mobile Banking & Financial Services Africa conference includes a variety of workshops, case studies and interactive discussion sessions to examine how mobile operators, banks, microfinance institutions (MFIs), payment specialists and solutions vendors are developing and launching products and services for a variety of market environments and customer segments. Addressing pan-African concerns, the program will examine the business models, technical infrastructure, security and regulatory issues associated with supporting mobile banking, mobile money transfers (remittances), mobile and contactless payments, and microfinance (including micro-lending, disbursements, and insurance).
