The Accion Global Bridge Fund (GBF) is a loan guarantee fund for microfinance institutions.
Description:
The Accion Global Bridge Fund aims to contribute to the global expansion of microfinance institutions (MFIs), which are retail micro-lenders, worldwide through loan guarantees. The GBF guarantees lines of credit and loans as well as fixed-income instruments issued by MFIs. The GBF works with ACCION’s partner and affiliate programs as well as other MFIs outside its network.
