Morgan Stanley, a New York based investment bank, and BlueOrchard Finance, a Swiss microfinance fund management company, have announced the launch of a USD 108mm bond backed by loans issued to microfinance institutions (MFIs). The bond will be given a rating by Standard & Poor, a major independent credit ratings agency.
